The Year 3 students completed the International Primary Curriculum unit - Active Planet with lots of fun activities. They created and tested their own seismograph instrument to measure earthquakes and constructed earthquake-proof buildings from mini marshmallows and cocktail sticks. They researched the vital elements required for a survival kit for anyone living in an area prone to natural disasters and made their very own survival kits. Ready for anything!
